Join the Great Reads from Great Places Challenge!

Read the titles chosen by the nine states of the Western II region, earn digital badges, and explore the culture and heritage of the different states. 

The Western II region includes Arizona, Colorado, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, and Wyoming.

Program is open August 1, 2024 - July 31, 2025.

Are you ready to explore America? You won't need to pack any bags, put on sunscreen or worry about visiting weird relatives on this trip.  You'll be touring the country one state at a time through books, and you get to choose which states you "travel" to.  

The Explore America Reading Challenge is your chance to visit the 50 states as well as the U.S. territories like Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C.  There is a helpful list of books for each state, but you can read any book about or that happens in one of the states -- just be sure to log the title completely so you can complete each state's mission.

A trip like this is going to take some time, but you won't get bored!
